Teen Patti Champion doesn’t veer too far away from the traditional Teen Patti gameplay. But mPlay has done a great job of including plenty of useful functions. They’re all presented very clearly through the game’s simple and friendly UI, so even beginners will be able to pick up the game in no time at all.
We do wish mPlay would have included an autoplay feature to make gameplay even smoother, adding even more value to this great set of functions.
Side Bets – Apart from placing your main bet, you can also add side bets on both the dealer’s and player’s hands. You’ll need to guess the exact hand here and bet on having a Pair, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind or Straight Flush, which come with odds of 5.65:1, 18.5:1, 30:1, 405:1 and 440:1, respectively. Side bets can be really rewarding, although the chances of landing any one of them are pretty slim. We did manage a couple of lucky bets, which gave us a pretty high win of ₹750,000.
Double Bet – You can double the value of your wagers across both main and side bets simply by clicking on the bet you previously set. Of course, if you need to place a completely different wager, then you must use the clear function first before placing a new bet.
Re-Bet – Instead of going through the tedious process of moving chips around the table on every round, you simply hit the re-bet button to repeat the previous round’s wager. It’s a time-saving function that makes gameplay a lot easier (especially if you’re using strategies that follow one hand in particular). We ended up using this a lot during our playthrough but would have ultimately preferred having an autopay feature.
Double Re-Bet – You can even double all of the previous round’s bets and side bets by simply clicking on the Double Re-Bet button. Keep in mind that the maximum bet level is ₹4,000 across both the main bet and side bets, so you won’t be able to use this function if the total bet goes over the maximum cap.
